Originality

Submissions must be original and not under active consideration or copyright elsewhere. You must hold the rights to publish the material and agree that the Registrar Forum may edit and publish your work online and in print.

Word Count

While flexible, we recommend the following ranges:

  • Editorials and opinion pieces: 600–900 words
  • Feature articles and case studies: 1,000–1,800 words
  • Short updates or notices: 300–500 words
  • Annual Reports, strategic plans, and other reports. (10 MB max recommended)
Style and Format

As a global site, we welcome submissions prepared in any recognized press style. All content published by staff, The Registrar magazine, or MDR Strategy Group on The Registrar Forum will be edited to align with Canadian Press (CP) style.

 Content in languages other than English is welcome, subject to content verification.

No promotion or solicitation

We do not publish promotional content, advertorials, or direct solicitations. Submissions should aim to inform, educate, or encourage discussion across the regulatory sector. For all advertising inquiries, please contact advertise@registrarforum.org. 

Images and Figures

Please provide one image for every 250 words. For all images, graphs, graphics, drawings, tables, and photos  provided, you must ensure you have the rights to use them. Provide captions and credit the source.

Attribution

All authors will be credited. Please include your full name, title, organization, and a brief bio (50–75 words) with your submission.

Editorial Review

All submissions are subject to editorial review. We reserve the right to accept, reject, or edit submissions for clarity, length, style, and accuracy. To submit your content please use the form and please use the contact form for questions or to discuss a pitch.

Content review and approval standards

We aim to review and approve submissions under 1,000 words within one working day. Submissions between 1,001 and 5,000 words are typically reviewed within two to four working days. Longer submissions may take up to one week for review. These timelines apply to working days and may vary depending on volume and complexity.

Rejected submissions

If your submission is not accepted, we will notify you by email. While we are unable to provide detailed feedback on every submission, we may offer guidance if revisions could make the piece suitable for future publication.
